So, the short story.. my husband got full legal and physical custody of his son(m12) through CPS, Mom lost custody and lives/lived with her parents (m12 grandparents) basically his whole life. (Other then when he lived with Dad full time when he was a baby) Grandparents keep saying, well we’ve been there all his life we have grandparents rights and we should be able to see him whenever we want (no they were not ever cleared by cps)…. Yet he was still truant for k-4th grade every year and allowed the actions of mother to go on. I know they aren’t responsible for the mother but how can you say you were “responsible” and “took care of the child” and not take any of the blame for the actions and consequences?????

I don’t think the grandparents have any leg to stand on if they take him to court….. they threaten us consistently that if they don’t get to see him we will get papers…. Well we are waiting on the papers since February 2023 sooooo 🤷🏻‍♀️
