Why not add a playlist that uses set/randomised custom mutations, and let it give some XP?

Treyarch has gone to all the effort of creating custom mutations, and made the incentive to play the more virtually non-existent by removing XP/EEs/etc.
Why not put in a playlist that has certain mutations (set by Treyarch or randomised between a few non-OP options) to incentivise playing online with the feature? As it stands right now, I never use mutations, but I really do see potential in it.
