Would this change to the GobbleGum system work?
Post Body

I’ve always hated the concept of Mega GobbleGum, mainly based upon their random nature. It is reminiscent of gambling, and the fact that there is no real way to guarantee receiving a specific GobbleGum really escalated the dashboarding problem. Even Newton’s Cookbook requires you to get specific Gums to trade, which is still random.

Perhaps to remedy this, and lessen the impact of the dashboarding problem, Treyarch could introduce a system to trade LD for a specific gumball at a higher cost. Instead of spinning randomly and hoping to get lucky, you could trade 20 LD and get a guaranteed Perkaholic instead. Lower tier Gums would obviously cost less, but still more than using the factory.

This system would be a lot less frustrating, leaves Monty’s Factory intact, makes dashboarding seem less necessary in pubs (as you can just earn it back in a few games rather than have to hope for good luck), and may even encourage more people to use COD Points (Yes, that point is directed at you, Activi$ion). I know I’d much rather spend money for guaranteed Gums than a chance at one, and I’m sure others feel the same.

Feel free to add to this concept or criticise it. I’m just putting out a thought I had.
