So I posted a week or so asking what was on my key lime plant. So I left them… is he starting to do the thing? 😍

Yeah I’ve been trying to read about it but I guess it all just depends. Says 3 weeks to anywhere till mid spring

I really wouldn’t mind getting a habitat going for it because I’m now invested lol. I moved that chair to the back of the table near the wall so it should be fine since that spot is never used. I’m not sure how long he has been there but I touched him today and the top part was hard and bottom was still soft. I guess I’ll star look at habits and doing a bit more research as to what to do.

Okay should I wait to move it till it’s done cocooning before moving it, it’s on my chair leg now and I move in a month. They other started at the bottom of my lime tree… where he can live happily until he turns into a majestic butterfly. While the other one is still devouring my tree everyday 😭🥹. Mixed feelings lol. Love my plants but also love butterflies. Will keep y’all updated with the growth
