UPDATE: Thank you all for the awesome messages! I am going through them now, but we definitely already have more people interested than we have slots!
In the meantime, anybody interested in joining a theme camp should also check out the eplaya thread meant just for that! I've gotten some amazing messages from people, but for people who haven't done this before, I suggest that if you post on the eplaya board that you're looking for a camp, you specifically write in your message when you can arrive and leave (highlight if you can arrive early or stay late to MOOP), what you can pay in dues (helps to not waste your time talking to a camp that might be too pricey for you), any special skills you have (anything to do with electrical stuff, generators, sound or light systems, nursing/medical field, massage, yoga, martial arts, therapy, pilates, music/singing, bartending, etc), what you're bringing with you (including vehicle, size of your tent, any extra shade, bike, etc), and how much work you're willing to do. Also, if you have a ticket already or need one, and if you have a WAP already or would like ne.
There are a lot of camps out there still looking for people, and if you do the initial leg-work for them when saying you're interested, it will DEFINITELY get their attention.
Thank you all SO MUCH! Everybody who messaged me, I'll get back to shortly, even if it's just to say "Sorry guys, we're full up"
I hope to see you all in the dust either way, and if you stop by Horny Camp and ask for the Baroness, they'll point you to me,

Hey y'all! Like the title says, we're looking for a few people to join us in our awesomeness this year, if you're looking for a solid, smallish (30 member cap) theme camp that's been going to the playa for 10 years!
Our main staple is horn-making classes, which run Mon-Fri at various times. We bring polymer clay and some grills, Burners bring their creative talent and make themselves (or a friend) a set of horns that are baked and then strung on stretchy string for them to wear (or if it's a gift, they get a nice, long piece of string to take to the person who they made the horns for).
We also have several bar events these days, as well as some other crafting classes. We have a stage, so people with an act who are looking to perform are *very* welcome, either for joining us, or just booking time on our stage.
This year, we're at 9:30 & Dewy, which is about a perfect placement for us, and our regular neighborhood.
Dues are under $200 and cover costs of clay, booze, and camp infrastructure. After the Burn, we publish a doc for all our members to see that details exactly where our money has gone.
Camp infrastructure includes several activities tents, shade over all of our tents, a kitchen (camp stoves, a giant coffee maker, wash stations, pots/pans/cooking utensils (you still provide your own personal eating kit), etc), grey water system (and shower system - you bring your own water to use carefully), lighting, decoration, sound system upkeep.
Our ages range from mid 20s to mid-60s, and a range of people from all over the US. A large portion of our camp is LGBTQ, so acceptance of all sexualities and gender expressions is a must for anybody looking to join.
We've gotten a green score on LNT the past few years, and we MOOP often so that end-of-Burn MOOPing isn't a huge PITA.
Anybody who wants to join must sign up for two activities shifts, and one Designated Adult shift. Activities shifts run 4-8 hours long, and entail running one of our activities. A Designated Adult shift if 8 hours long, and involves being sober, on-call, and ready to take on anything that comes up, from adding gas to the generator, to deciding if someone in the camp needs a medical visit, to directing late-comers to their tent space (it also comes with a book detailing lots of things, like first aid kit and fire extinguisher placement, and we teach people anything they don't know how to do).
We are still looking for a few people to come early and help build, which is a great way to see how a camp (and the whole city) comes alive. Anybody considering that needs to be in Reno either Wednesday August 22nd, or the ass crack of dawn on Thursday, as that is when we head to Fernley to load up from our storage unit and then head to the burn.
Anybody with questions, please feel free to ask! We welcome everybody from people who have been burning for decades to brand spankin' new virgins.
