When I (38m) was with my ex, we had talked about going to see a burlesque show for fun. I've been to a few strip clubs but it's not something I do a lot, and she had only been to one. But she had a bachelorette party where they took a burlesque class, so we were both curious in trying out a show sometime.

Fast forward we never got around to it and now aren't together. But since I was looking up shows previously, I still keep seeing ads and in particular I've been getting tons of ads for this Star Wars themed show that's in town for a bit this summer. It looks very entertaining and fun and I really wanna see it, but I feel weird going by myself.

Is it weird to go to a show like that by yourself?

And if it's something that I bought two tickets for and posted an invite for a guest to join me, would people go for it?
