Hey everyone. I have a quick status update.
Our farms are coming back online. We now have multiple large wheat and potato fields, many of which JQBogus is generously allowing us to use on his land. Please respect it and replant. Our sugar cane farm is once again at full capacity. We still need to work on the melon farm, or figure out something else to do with the land if we're not using it for that. Additionally, we might benefit from having a more permanent tree farm, though I must say I'm really liking the output from the current one. Additionally, ArkenX and leahcimknabue are working on a new automatic wheat farm that will produce more than a doublechest of wheat per harvest.
I have built 3 factories in the original factory area. These are the charcoal burner, wood cauldron, and stone smelter. For those of you not in the BrynCitizen group, I unfortunately don't have access so you'll have to wait a bit to get in. If you are in BrynCitizen but still cant access the factories, I've made a new group, so talk to me or ArkenX about access.
I have been working on fixing up/modifying the rail station. If you all would to take a look at that and see what you think, I'd appreciate it.
Mulificus of Fellowship has contacted me regarding a large /- Alliance that is forming. It incudes
- Provisions for mutual defense, including quadrant wide training days and response time drills, and a quadrant wide snitch network.
- Promises of better rail infrastructure connecting the cities of the /- together.
- A system where active cities will aid and protect those that have fallen on tough times.
It is worth noting that leadership from most large /- cities are involved in these talks.
Personally I'm particularly interested in the first and third provisions. I think being a part of this will help speed our recovery, and help keep us protected while we rebuild. However, I'm not going to agree to anything without support from the others in Bryn, so I'd like to know your opinions on this.
