We opted to invest in the Breville BBM800 bread maker, which is apparently an OK one.
While attempting to bake a simple milk white loaf, we encountered an unexpected setback. Despite meticulously adhering to the recipe, the resulting loaf was unfortunately quite dense, hard, and resembled stale bread.
It is important to note that we did not have "improver" on hand and had to omit it from the recipe. Could that have significantly contributed to the poor quality of the loaf?
To rectify this issue, we intend to acquire improver and make another attempt at baking the milk white loaf but would like some opinions.
