Quick free tip if you start to see traffic numbers on your blog dip. We noticed a sudden decline in page rank and traffic two months ago and couldn't figure out why. When we started digging through ahrefs, we noticed a bunch of links going out to non-industry-related sites and dug a bit deeper. It turns out that one of the admin accounts had been hacked, and somebody went in and was placing links on sub-pages with either invisible text or extremely small font that wouldn't get noticed. Once we removed the links, and removed the admin access, traffic numbers started to bounce back. I highly recommend keeping an eye on stats in either SEMRush or Ahrefs
