Probably been posted 100 times, but I just have to vent about this guy. I'm hating this boss and have soured on the game, and the reason is simple. I put 20 hours in and I'm not sure I can finish it.

The difficulty of this boss relative to the rest of the game means it should have been reserved as side content, a la Absolute Radiance in Hollow Knight. I think it's just poor game design to have a massive difficulty spike at the end of a game. If you're going to have something so difficult at the end, have something equally difficult much earlier too as a skill check and to let people know what they're up against. Honestly how many people were playing this game and then just completely came up against a wall here?

This could have been kind of ok if they had the good sense to just leave in the cheese option. But they actually went and patched it out. Crazy.

The icing on the cake here is that they clearly want you to practice and overcome, but that process is incredibly fucking frustrating and stupid because, every time, you have to fight the incredibly easy but still time consuming enough to be annoying first phase, and sit through cut scenes.

This is a miserable end of game experience for B2. Is there any cheese method still currently working, because I'm just not going to practice this boss with the way it's structured.

Edit: Beat it. Used Ruego, parry and dash. Blood pact. Still a huge difficulty spike and stupid you have to grind the first phase over and over. But doable.
