I can't change the title :/
It's mostly because of colonisation, and we're in a safer country, but I'm not sure if that culture still influences their views on LGBT ... I want to talk to them about how I feel but I'm not sure
They might be okay with it, but I also want to make sure they wouldn't hurt me if they have homophobic views
I guess I don't feel pressured to "come out" but I feel motivated to speak up for human rights? And maybe if I can show them that LGBT people are normal and part of the family too (if they are homophobic), they might help people in our culture too/be allies who are lgbt ?
