I have been trying to sell my antminers (s9) on ebay and it seems like the only bids are scams. I think they are scams because their account is less than a year old and they win at the last second. Their reviews are for small items that have nothing to do with crypto at all.
I have heard of horror stories of selling on ebay. selling it and then they switch with their broken machine. or selling and mining for a while then returning them.
My question is: is ebay really safe for selling antiminers? im not selling them for profit or anything, and I wouldn't like to feel extra pain by being scammed for one or multiple if they do the mine and charge back method. Just would like the advice of seasoned veterans!
Just sold my A3, I’m just as scared as you are I’ll update if my money disappears from PayPal. First time eBay seller too although long time buyer so I’m extra scared for such a large first sale!
I did receive a message from a different account with 0 feedback acting like the winning bidder saying they wanted me to send the package to a different address with some sob story. Scared the crap out of me I thought I was surely screwed because I’d sent the package already. Those sneaky bastards! Luckily I realized it wasn’t the original winning bidder so here’s hoping all goes well.
