I adopted what I thought was a young black German shepard! When I visited my dog they told me she was a year old. She was super chill! Then I found out she was pretty sick. She had an infected wound and had coccidia. Now she’s all better and has a LOT more energy!
I thought she was skinny for a Shepard and then I saw a picture of a malinois and my jaw dropped!
She is hyper but she is an incredibly loving and sweet dog! This wasn’t what I was expecting but I am willing to change my life to make room for her.
I need advice on pit falls to watch out for. I have done some reading but there’s nothing like real world feedback! ALSO Definitely suggestions to keep her entertained during the day. I work from home and I try to play ball with her a bit in between meetings but I know her stimulation will need to rotate. Halp!
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you got a lot of years to love him.
His name reminds me of a wubbi, bastardized from boobie. As in that special thing that a baby holds on to and carries when baby needs comfort.
