Have a 5 month old Dutch Shepherd pup and when she drinks water she spreads it everywhere and I mean everywhere... She's not being rambunctious with it, it just goes everywhere. She gets like a mouthful of water it seems and just lets it drool out as she walks away when she's done.. I have a 2 ft by foot and a half silicone mat underneath the water bowl and I still have a trail of water away from the bowl and puddles everywhere. So just curious about solutions that y'all use and if it's a Shepherd thing or just a her thing...
Build a little garden around the water bowl!
I would also put a shallow plastic pan in the area. Like a tray that goes under a crate? Help contain it at least.
