need help with substrate
Post Body

Hello everyone, I recently tried setting up a 4x2x2 enclosure for a bearded dragon. I am using 70% Scott's topsoil and 30% play sand. However, after putting it into the enclosure, I noticed that there was perlite in the soil. I wanted to ask if just sifting through the soil and removing the perlite that way would be enough, or if I should empty it out and replace the substrate. Thank you.
