I enjoy playing some of the BeamNG scenarios, but sometimes I wanted to keep playing them after they ended. For example, in chases where the suspect gets too far away.
Once the fail (or success) screen comes up:
- Press ESC. You should now see the quick select radial and the top and bottom navs
- Press F5. This should reload the UI
- Press ESC again. Normally this would go back to the Scenario Over screen, but because the UI was reloaded it does not.
- Finally press alt up-arrow to (or whatever you have bound) to resume normal speed.
You can go back to playing the scenario and the AI will continue doing whatever it was doing (trying to escape, trying to chase, etc)
You likely need to turn off competitive scenarios for this to work. Turning off competitive scenarios will also let you change vehicles for scenarios and other things normally disabled during scenarios.
- Options => Gameplay => Uncheck "Competitive scenario conditions"
Just thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone else finds it helpful.
