Cue Mission Impossible music. Dropping from the ceiling. Wearing all black, with the exception of my cool Jaws (The shark movie from the 80s) sock. Socks are one of my "things". All colors, patterns, and styles. Fiddle sticks. Yes, I'm bringing back the term/phrase "Fiddle sticks". It has the right balance of innocence and weird. Deep inhale and exhale, let me refocus. I should elaborate on my post title.

My mission is very much possible don't cue the music again. I'm doing it now. In fact I happen to be rather good at this mission. takes a bow. Fiddle sticks. I haven't told you my mission. I'll be kind enough to enlighten you. So my mission has layers. Kind of like a beautiful onion. The first layer is to make you laugh, smile, or at least smirk. We both know I'm off to a phenomenal start in that department. Takes second bow. I'm a teller of dad jokes, awful puns, and pointing out obvious observations. I appreciate a great schedule/routine, but absolutely love randomness and spontaneity. I'm going to get to the heart of the mission. I know you've got lots more to do today, and besides I don't want your cheeks all sore (face cheeks you perv...well...for now) wink.

The other part of my mission is to build a beautiful connection with drum roll please Y-O-U. I want to share music, thrift together, hike, and binge watch bad movies on a cold, rainy day indoors. We're going to make friends, family, strangers sick of us with our inside jokes, spur of the moment rock, paper, scissors games, and overall cuteness. Of course we'll discuss books, current events, and cook together. I'm a proud plant Dad. The sun on my skin, and earth under my feet, yes please! Nature is my other "thing" along with the socks. Especially being near the water.
