A couple days ago I posted about major performance issues that came out of nowhere. My system meets or exceeds all recommended requirements and the game was initially running flawlessly on the highest graphic settings. Then it all went to heck and ran verrrry slowly especially when many units were on the screen.

Somewhere along the line my video was changed from borderless window to fullscreen. I also noticed what was originally named “Fullscreen (fake)” was renamed “borderless windowed”. I think a hotfixed might have changed this setting, but moving it back to borderless window has me running flawlessly again on the highest graphical settings. Also, there is no visual difference between the two strings - it looks full screen hence “fake full screen”

Sharing incase anyone else had this issue. Was seriously putting a damper on my enjoyment.
