Today I died in the first room

I started a new character, halfling necromancer, it might be fun. I woke up on the nautiloid, and went to the upper level to loot. Ran into the fire and took 2 ticks of fire damage for a total of 4 damage leaving me at half health. It's fine there is the healing station in there probably for this very reason.
I then went down to the tadpole bath and checked it out. It blew up and damaged me for 4 hp. That was it, game over man.
I love this game.
