Tropical fruit subsitutes for berries?
Post Body

Hi! I live in Southeast Asia and berries here are stupidly expensive. On top of that, I really really dislike -berries (straw, blue, rasp, black, mul, etc).

I'm thinking of a good local fruit that could replace berries in simple cakes. I was looking at Dorie Greenspan's Blueberry and Thyme Yogurt Cake recipe, and really want to make it. Just thinking of other more tropical fruits that would be a good sub. I'm not sure if the water content matters so I'm careful to not just pick any fruit.
