My take on tech binding leashes
Post Body
Went for my first tour in a while and remembered how much I liked my leash system, so I thought I'd share. The ring on the bindings is from another old leash system (which could be replicated by a key ring), but I've replaced the original clasp with a large binder clip arm.
This leash system has enough strength to keep the ski close when taking off the ski in sketchy terrain, but it will break away easily in the event of an avalanche.
I find it really quite simple to attach, and a quick flick of the boot will detach it.
