Hey everyone! This is my first time posting and being on the sub so go easy on me if I make mistakes.

Anyways I have a 2016 428i gran coupe that’s been running perfectly since I got it in 2019 however I’ve come across this issue since last week. Basically if I open my trunk with all the options (using the key fob, sensor with my foot, using the button on the drivers side, and even using my hand to press the lever to open the trunk) it will open about halfway and stop abruptly. And then if I try closing the trunk using buttons or the foot sensor it will barely budge (like half a millimeter of movement tbh). It isn’t a problem that affects my driving but it is kinda inconvenient to have to manually open and close an already automatic trunk.
