Here we are, on the personals merry-go-round. I'm looking for someone specific, like I imagine you are too. Is that each other?

I'm not interested in rattled-out stats. I'm 5'0" and I'm submissive and I like avocado toast like a true millennial, but that's not who I am. I'm interested in essence. You know, things that can't necessarily be written but are experienced. I want you to capture me with your words, like I hope my words capture you. That instant recognition: this person is important; I can feel it in my bones.

I'm gentle and cuddly and sweet and you would sure as hell see how adorable I am. I've liked the idea of being a kitty, but I don't know how much I'd like it in practice. Pleasing someone else is in DNA. If you're the right one, can I just be your precious darling already?

I can be impatient sometimes. I need help establishing/maintaining boundaries and following through on my dreams (it's scary, but I know I need to be kind to myself and take action).

When I was younger, I dreamed of an all-encompassing, dependent relationship because I thought that was the right ideal. I'd never be lonely then, right? But I've come to learn that independence is a good thing. I love the sound notification of a text from someone special like anyone else...and I know that true wholeness and fulfillment doesn't come from another person.

Though, full disclosure: sometimes I forget. I think a lot of life is forgetting and remembering and forgetting and re-remembering and forgetting and re-re-remembering and forgetting and re-re-re-remembering and forgetting and re-re-re-re-remembering and forgetting and re-re-re-re-re-remembering ad infinitum.

Like I imagine I've forgotten you. We've met before, I'm sure. Maybe in a different form, but we have.

Would you read me the Tao Te Ching while I'm curled in your lap and you gently stroke my long, thick hair? Or, like Alice in Wonderland or any book you dig that you'd be down to read to me.

I'm interested in mutual growth and being each other's cheerleaders and hot summer days and cold winter days that feel the same amount of cozy warmth.

p.s. I've posted this ad a handful of times. Arguably, it's the most well-written ad I've ever put out there. But that's not really the point, is it? It's about...finding the you that's out there.
