Workout kink? Training kink? Body manipulation? I’m not quite sure if there’s a term to encompass this “group” of what I see are very related kinks:

• I like the notion of training and improving my body and mind. To be fitter, more flexible, pushing boundaries and exploring limits. I practise yoga 4-5 times a week and see a lot of parallels between yoga and BDSM. The physical sensation of mild discomfort turns me on, especially while training for flexibility in the hips and legs. • Aside from the benefits, I enjoy the actual feeling of soreness after a good workout, especially in my abs and glutes. Partly because that makes me feel like I worked hard enough, but also because I like the sensation itself.

• To take it a step further, I like the concept of training to improve my body sexually. That is to say anal training exercises with a butt plug for muscle control and endurance, kegels, exercises which help to improve control over orgasms like holding back or learning to pace myself with a countdown etc. And when my anal or pussy muscles get tired, how much more can I push myself to go on?

• I like deep tissue massages and foot reflexology. The discomfort when the therapist works through a tight or knotty area is like a non-sexual D/s therapeutic moment for me, it feels uncomfortable but with deep breathing I can work though the discomfort and know that I’ll benefit from it in the end.

What I’ve stated above can be an individual practice (ie done solo) but can be elevated and intensified when guided/trained by a dom if there’s an opportunity for it.

Am curious to know if there’s a term for this category of kinks, it also seems quite niche as I haven’t really seen many others posting about such things as a collective group of kinks.
