I think I have the general idea of it, but I'm a bit lost as to the specifics

The idea I have in my head is that, say a couple for example are in a TPE relationship

Partner 1 assumes total control of the day to day affairs, "we're going to visit X and do Y today"

Partner 2, has consented to letting Partner 1 have full control of this and goes along with it

I'm also under the impression that this can extend to stuff such as finances, personal aesthetic choices or even daily routines or it can be restricted to the bedroom only or anything in between.

Am I on the mark or do I have the completely wrong idea? I'd love to hear some examples since I'm struggling to put the mental image together
