Lmaooooo hi! I’m 23F, I’ve technically been on Fet since I was 19 but I’m hella inactive. Since joining I’ve either been in the throes of NRE, in the middle of a global pandemic, living in the middle of nowhere, or consumed with stress (or all of the above) so I’ve been unable to seek out events near me. Until now!

Tragically (but totally understandably), most of the events in my area are “pm for location” type events. There’s a munch I’m eyeing too, but it’s specific to a kink I have minimal experience with and the regular turnout seems to be under 5 (which is MUCH SCARIER to me than a group of a dozen or two).

I know this is silly but I’m lowkey petrified of reaching out to event hosts for addresses. I probably look suspicious as hell being a mostly-blank profile asking for addresses.

People! How do you cold-DM other people like this? Alternatively, hosts and hostesses! How do you like to be messaged? Obviously I’m not planning on pulling the old “hi” or the “can I ask you a question” bullshit, I’m 23 and know better lmao. Idk, I’m anxious about this stuff!
