Hi everyone! Idk , this topic has been on my mind and i do apologize if it's been discussed before! But, I have been thinking about "What if Rangi died before Kyoshi? Like Kyoshi just out lived Rangi by 130 more years?"

I personally like angst in any story/fanfic. So, the story playing in my head is: It takes Kyoshi years to actually move on from Rangi, but she never completely moves on from her. But Kyoshi is having a hard time taking care of herself, over time she sleeps around with men and women to help her feel something. She comes across a man that reminds her a lot like Rangi, has a Koko with him. The man and Koko become her family and lives on Kyoshi Island.

Even though she technically settles down with a man and Koko, she still has feelings and thinks of Rangi all the time. It actually doesn't help that the man reminds her of Rangi.

Forward to when Kyoshi dies, goes to the spirit world, then is able to reunite with Rangi. Rangi tells Kyoshi that she watched over her this whole time. Being concerned about how Kyoshi isn't taking care of herself, Rangi somehow makes it so that someone( which happened to be a man) be Kyoshi's later companion and allow Kyoshi to have a family.

Kyoshi in response, expresses great love and gratitude towards Rangi and chooses to be with Rangi in the afterlife, while watching over the man and Koko.

So yeah, sorry for the long post, but what are y'all thoughts? 🙂
