I am trying to get automod to remove posts/ comments by accounts that dont meet our karma or age requirements. I am sure I am going about this all wrong, but this is what I currently use:

removes low Karma posts

author:
    is_contributor: true
    combined_karma: "< 15"
modmail: |
    The above post by /u/{{author}} was removed for review. The account associated has very low Karma. 
message: |
    Your [{{kind}}]({{permalink}}) in /r/{{subreddit}} was automatically removed because you do not meet the karma threshold. Your {{kind}} is under review by the Moderation team..
action: remove

Removes new accounts

author:
    is_contributor: true
    account_age: "< 3 days"
modmail: |
    The above post by /u/{{author}} was removed for review. The account associated is a new account. 
message: |
    Your [{{kind}}]({{permalink}}) in /r/{{subreddit}} was automatically removed because you do not meet the account age threshold. Your {{kind}} is under review by the Moderation team.
action: remove

I do not mind manually updating automod every time we add someone if need be. I tried the user whitelist option but the accounts still get a message sent. Is what I am looking for even possible?
