I saw this News Link and I'm bewildered that with entire teams of executives and producers can't figure out that Australian's don't want to watch shows that seem like their written for or by children. The Masked Singer? Goggle Box? C'mon. Idk if it's just me but 90% of FtA TV feels kind of insulting, like it's insinuating that Australians are simple.

I for one would happily go back to free to air if we had the same quality as the 80's, 90's and early to mid 00's

Sorry for the rant but it really triggers me that nobody can figure out that the shows they produce are trash, yet the figures clearly show. Hell, even ad breaks I'd put up with if we had decent entertainment. They give you a chance to take a pee and grab a drink.

I was born in '88 but the Original Magnum P.I. is my favorite show. I have the box set but seeing it every week live would have been wicked. Even less fantastic shows like the O.C., Becker, Hercules, etc gave you something to get excited about every week.
