Ladies and Gentlemen of Banks.

My name is showstealer1829 and I am proud to be the Labour Party's candidate for the seat of Banks at the upcoming AusSim election.

This election cycle as seen the Labour party reborn, given new voice and new ideals to provide the citizens of AusSim the representation they truly deserve. We have been reborn because the people of AusSim demand a party that spoke to them, a party where every person, from the lowliest minimum wage worker to the high ranking CEO's are treated as equals in building this great country of ours.

And if I am elected to be your member.. I promise to fight for all people in Banks. I along with my Labour colleagues will put forward progressive thinking and consultative policies to ensure that every Australian contributes their fair share to this nation of ours, to ensure that our nation's prosperity is distributed equally to all Australians, that we protect our most vulnerable and our most in need and investing in the education of our youth to ensure our nation's prosperity continues well into the future.

Our national broadcaster is under threat, there are those who would have you believe that cutting funding to the ABC would save us a great deal of money, that they could do the job for less. I say that is wrong. We stand for strong, independent journalism and we will fight to defend the ABC from those on the right who would seek to gut the budget of our national broadcaster.

We also stand for infrastructure and jobs. We will fight night and day for the people of Banks to get the infrastructure they so sorely need as well as the development of strong community based devlopment targeted at our youth to give them the hand up they so desperately need as they take their first steps into the work force.

We strongly believe the working force are our nations lifeblood. We will strongly defend the rights of the working class people of this nation, the right to have their rates protected, The right of having sufficient safeguards and protections under the law to feel free to speak up should they see any wrongdoing, The safety of knowing that that will not be bled dry by any changes to our nations tax system and the knowledge that everyone is indeed putting in their fair share.

On a personal level, if elected I will strive every day to put the people of Banks first in my endeavors in the Parliament and that every vote I cast, every policy I read, every moment I spend in both Canberra and Banks will have the people of Banks in the front of my mind.

As this election rolls around a great wave has started. A great swell is rising to give Australia back to the people. The Labour party is that tide and I stand ready to represent you in Canberra should you give me the opportunity
