At our last budget, the Liberal National Government announced that we were committing $500million to build a new Sydney Fish Market, a complex that has not undergone development since the 1980s. This funding commitment is but one of the many examples of the Liberal National Government of our commitment to New South Wales in building up our infrastructure for the betterment of the state, and to the betterment of ordinary Australians.

The Liberal National Government has committed over $5 billion dollars in infrastructure upgrades as we begin to move into a new world and look to recover the economy through strong investment that will create thousands of jobs not just here in Sydney but across the entire state and country. Improvements to our highways, improvements to our dams, to our rail lines, and to facilities like the one behind me.

But it isn’t just these areas that we are looking at we have also committed to improving our schools by putting billions of dollars into upgrades in infrastructure including a $250 million Digital and Technology Hub at Meadowbank TAFE. And upgrading hospitals, our last budget dedicated an upgrade to Shoalhaven hospital, however, as your Senator I can promise you we will deliver further funding to upgrade Liverpool Hospital, Concord Hospital, Wollongong Hospital as well as a commitment to provide more mental health facilities across the state.

A Liberal National Government has started the process of improving this country but the job is not yet done as we continue to guide the country through the coronavirus pandemic and begin to rebuild our lives and our economy. The Liberal National Party has a plan to get Australia back on top as we continue to fight the pandemic and protect Australians, a pandemic that could’ve been prevented had the SDP made quick swift action when it first arrived on our shores rather than ignoring it. Through our election commitments such as increased funding in infrastructure, education and health we can create more jobs and improve the lives of ordinary Australians through increasing your wealth. The SDP has a plan to increase your taxes and divert funding to their pet projects and special interest groups, the Liberal National Party will get more people back to work, more people living in a better society without taking more and more of your hard-earned money.
