On the second day of the campaign, Ash decides to head up to Coffs Harbour to discuss vital infrastructure for the state and the region, that the SDP have neglected time and time again during their time in power. During his time in the town, he handed out pamphlets and met with local residents at a COVID safe booth. Shortly after, he met with local businesses to discuss the LNP plan for businesses and held a rally short after, following COVID safe requirements.

“Howdy folks, it’s nice to be here in Coffs Harbour with beautiful weather today, today I met with local constituents and owners of small businesses, discussing their futures under an LNP government and the risk that an SDP government has on their securities, their wellbeing, their families and their livelihoods. We the LNP are the party always standing up for the quiet Australians that work hard in their lives to make a decent living and may run their own small businesses. That’s why we have delivered tax cuts in the last budget, slashing the cost of establishing a business and acknowledging the hard work that Australians have put in, to make a decent living and keep Australia working. For the upcoming term we have many plans for the economy, expanding on our platform that we have created during the past term like abolishing the pension means test, establish a scheme to give a government deposit of $5000 towards First Home Buyers called house builder, and lowering the company tax rate, initiatives like this will allow for more spending within the economy, protecting our companies from the impacts of the pandemic and drive the economy out of this mess, partially caused by the inactivity of the Social Democratic Government. We cannot allow the party of great ineptitude to seize power in pressing times like this.

Today, I would like to announce a series of infrastructure projects that will boost the economy in regional NSW. If re-elected the AussieConservative is committed to funding $500 million for the upgrade to the bypass here in Coffs Harbour. This project will ease congestion in the area, and will slash time commuting times by 10 minutes in many cases, so if you want to visit your families, go to work or go to any event quicker, this LNP government is definitely the one for you. Alongside this, we are committed to funding $1.5 billion to a new coal fired power station in the hunter region, which will add many direct and indirect jobs to the region. These initiatives are a part of our jobmaker and infrastructure initiatives, which will serve Australia for times to come.
