Current Minister for Education and Training, Social Services and Sports and Arts and former Deputy Prime Minister TheAudibleAsh makes his bid for reelection in his home electorate of Capricornia. In recent elections, the electorate was barely or not contested at all, simply neglected by the left. In the current election campaign, Ash meets a fresh challenge from the freshly shaven J.B Washington from the Social Democratic Party. In a speech to supporters of his re election, Ash highlighted the danger that a SDP government could have to the wellbeing of citizens residing in the electorate and the country and announced some policies that will greatly benefit the residents of the electorate and the residents of the country as a whole.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, it has been a great pleasure being the MP for this diverse and welcoming electorate, which I now call home, after moving here 6 months ago during my career as a clerk of the Federal Parliament of Australia. This electorate is the fruit bowl of Australia and fuels our country, with our strong mining industry, which the SDP sought to destroy, and destroy rapidly. Unlike a slow balanced transition to green power, they wish to move to 100% green energy reliance in only a few decades, which will ravage the employment and wellbeing of many in our electorate which is heavily reliant on the industry. I know that Washington said that he will support jobs in the mining industry, but this is contrary to his renewable energy policy, considering coal is our main source of commodity wealth in the country, you simply can’t trust him. I know this electorate is better than trusting liars like J.B Washington. The Liberal party is the party that will continue to support the wellbeing of our workers in the mining industry.”

“If elected next term, the Liberal Party will revive the Bradfield scheme. This scheme has been envisioned by our visionary leader and Prime Minister, Porriidge. Over recent weeks and months we have seen a worsening drought crisis that has never happened in this lush country of flora and fauna before. This $12 billion scheme will provide vast areas of the state with food production areas and hydroelectric power, which is a sensible way of providing renewable electricity to the people that need it the most, the proposed hell gates dam will minimise the intensity of floods that have hit Queensland in recent times. The proposed scheme will provide an additional 50,000 jobs to residents of the state. Unlike the SDP we follow practical policies that have a positive impact on the lives of Queenslanders. The Nationals party claim to be the party for rural citizens but have failed on delivering policies addressing the drought crisis to the general populace.”
