Can a shower before bed trigger asthma ?

I haven't been to the doctor for months so I couldn't ask my doctor this question and my guardian insists that taking a shower/bath before going to sleep is bad for my health. And I think that it doesn't make any sense. I've done my research, and it shows that it is actually good for a person to take a shower/bath before sleep (1-2hrs before sleep). I couldn't see anything that says it can trigger asthma so I decided to ask here.
