Sudden onset back leg weakness in senior cat
Post Body

My cat is 16 years old, spayed, and around 10 lbs. She has arthritis, chronic kidney disease, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

As of this morning, she has back leg weakness in her right leg. She's unstable and wobbly when walking and her leg has given out on her a few times. She's still eating/drinking, hasn't had any accidents, and is still interested in getting attention. There are no visible signs of injury.

We have a vet appointment for her next week but are unsure if we need to bring her in sooner. We have always used a mobile vet as she gets very anxious outside of her usual environment but would take her in person sooner if her symptoms warrant it.

Any ideas about the cause of advice on what to do next or what to do before her appointment would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you in advance.
