Hello,
In January, I began employment in my place of work. Everything was going fine, i.e. I wasn't recieving any major criticism for my work, I was on top of everything. However, I was then told that my e-mails required a bit more work.
I took their advice into account and ran every e-mail sent to external clients through my team leader, and very minor changes would be made.
However, today I was given a call and let go instantly the same day. They claimed that I was very poor in communicating and I wasn't given any warning. I was understandably very distressed and didn't ask more questions as I was shocked, after all I left my previous job and another job offer to join this place.
- Where should I go from here? Would I be able to contest this?
- I don't think I should put in this job in my CV, as it would pretty much screw me up, so how would I go about explaining this career gap?
- As I'm also unemployed for the first time in like, 9 years, how does universal credit work what with covid and all that?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
