Bertrand’s paradox and symmetry
Post Body
I was looking at info on Bertrand’s paradox and I came across this video from numberphile with 3 blue 1 brown. In the video, Sanderson states that a unique uniform distribution exists on a space that is compact and has a symmetry group with transitive action. I was wondering if anyone has an explanation of why that is or knows of a good source to look into for more details
