The idea is this, a representative of an advanced alien race has taken you up to their ship and given you the chance to ask it three questions. For simplicities sake, we'll assume the alien knows your language perfectly and has full context for any topics you'd ask it about. It will completely answer any question to the fullest extent, meaning if you implore it to divulge more details it will do so and not count as a question. Now, what do you ask?
Edit: Also, to limit some questions like "Will you let me go?" The alien will return you to Earth, without harm, and their race will not make contact again for many years. Essentially the idea is they're trying to spread knowledge, I don't know it's a hypothetical.
