Last night I was cleaning off dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. While doing this, I had the garbage disposal running the whole time to grind up anything that washed off the plates.

During this time something fell into the disposal that wouldn't grind up. Come to find out it was a beer bottle cap. Anyway, so as this bottle cap is clanking around in the disposal I instinctively decide to put my and down the disposal to grab it.

Luckily, my brain kicked in as my fingers passed the threshold of the rubber flaps and I hit the switch to the disposal to turn it off. I could literally feel the spinning force of the disposal on the tips of my fingers.

I just stood there looking at my hand for about a minute or so realizing that I almost made a very huge mistake.
