I am keeping a document in which I collect research findings of many different publications for later use in my masters thesis. To keep it organized, the name and authors of a paper function as a headline. I differentiate those from the rest of the text by increasing font size, making them bold and centering them.
It would be awesome if I could somehow save that style combination as a preset and just mark copypasted text and apply a hotkey combination so that it automatically changes to the associated preset. So instead of manually having to navigate to "start" -> "font"-> "bold" -> "size" -> paragraph "-> "centered", etc., I could just do the whole thing with one keybind. That would save a lot of time (probably about the time it took me to write this post...) every work session.
Does something like this already exist? I imagine that is easy to do for a competent coder, right?
Might be a cool gimmick for many researchers or writers of any kind.
Thanks!
