So for starters…it’s been like this for 2 years. Said screw it back then but would like to fix it. 1 bolt snapped and its about halfway down the threads in the head. Obviously best option is to take it to a shop to get it professionally removed, but I was wondering if using a helicoil would be possible and cutting the new intake manifold bolt shorter so that it’ll tighten down all the way.
Just to mention, I did attempt to drill and tap when it first happened, but the bit wasn’t centered and ended up drilling into the side of the top of the snapped bolt instead of the center.
