Which wars were won primarily by the talent and skill of the individual soldiers?
Post Body
Inspired by this thread I want to go to the opposite direction and ask which wars were won because the average soldier was well trained and disciplined and thus fought better than their enemy. Because when you take a look at the wars of the 20th and 21st century they seem to be decided either by economic or political factors, not on the battlefield itself.
