What was the energy described to be like at the Boston Tea Party? Why does that information matter?
Post Body

I'm watching a documentary on American History in my AH class and one historian pokes fun at the fact that it really wasn't a huge party, it was more of just tossing the tea boxes overboard, not a lot of cheering, just lots of "plop, plop, plops" in the water. That's a cool bit of information (not really.) But why does it matter? Why would authors include it in their primary sources? Why is it worth bringing up in a documentary on The start of the United States/American History?
