This subreddit is now a little over six months old, and has almost 5,000 subscribers. The growth and activity I've witnessed here is fantastic.

Now, this subreddit is growing. A lot. So far, I've been able to keep up. However, soon I'm going to need a second moderator. Some have already PMed me asking about a position like that, but I want to give everyone a fair chance.

So that you know what you are getting into: the only things you really do as a moderator is update tags and clear the spam filter. You almost never delete anything. In my time here, I've only deleted one post and one comment, both obviously posted by bots.

That being said, I'd like people to look at the new sidebar. It now has a lot more information, including some guidelines roughly based on those posted by eternalkerri. Please be generous with the downvote button if you see someone breaking the guidelines, but don't report it. Like I said, I probably won't delete it unless it was obviously posted by a bot. Instead, if someone is causing a larger problem (fallacious information, antagonistic posts, etc), please contact me by private message and tell me what the problem is. I still won't delete the comment/post, but I will address the perpetrator personally.
