After the Night of the Long Knives, did Hitler's Nazis immediately drop any pretensions towards socialism?
Post Body

While I've read that calling themselves national socialists was largely an attempt to coopt the popularity of socialism among Germans, there was a more genuinely socialist wing of the Nazi party, until it was purged in 1934. After this (and after the Nazi party had gained dictatorial power), was any idea of socialism as a core part of the platform dropped? Thanks!
