Push-pull Comparator and TPL5110
Post Body

Hello all:

I'm using a TLV7032 in a window comparator, and I want to use the output of it to trigger a TPL5110.

The IC converts a resistance value at startup to determine its time interval. It does so by sending a couple hundred microAmps to The Same Pin that you use to manually fire the timer.

What I'm wondering is, if I connect that Pin, the Resistor, and the Comparator all together, without a Schottky, is that comparator going to sink some of the current and obfuscate the value read by the TPL at startup? Or should I perhaps switch the VCC with an NPN BJT?

In my case I'll be replacing the switch from Vcc to DELAY/M_DRV with the output of the TLV7032.
