Hello fellow Aussies!
We're having a cultural exchange with /r/AskFrance starting Saturday 17th of September at 7am (Friday 16th at 23h00 CEST)
What is a Cultural Exchange?
Cultural exchanges are an opportunity to discuss with the inhabitants of a country or region to ask all kinds of questions about their habits, their culture, the politics of their country, in short everything that comes to mind.
How does this work?
Users of r/AskFrance will ask questions about r/AskAnAustralian in the pinned thread for the occasion. At the same time, an equivalent thread will be pinned to r/AskFrance where you can ask the French your questions.
In which language?
The rules of each subreddit apply so you will have to ask your questions in the French or English on r/AskFrance. However, to avoid too much confusion we'll stick to English in /r/AskAnAustralian. For those who have trouble with the language barrier, use Deepl.com it works better than Google Translate.
Remember:
Be nice, try to make this exchange something interesting by asking real questions over on /r/AskFrance and be sure to answer those asked here as well.
