Dear Americans, what disadvantages where you told welfare states, like many in central and northern Europe are, have compared to your own form of state?

Edit 3: I'm so glad I made this post. So. Much. Insight. I hereby want to apologize for my fellow Europeans baiting you with stupid questions like "do you like healthcare". From the comments I learned this is happening pretty often and I now understand why people were suspicious of my post at first. Thank you to everyone who commented!

Edit 2: apparently I can't express myself correctly. I mean: what where you told is bad about living in countries like Denmark or Germany, compared to the U.S. not saying there is no welfare in the states, also not saying the U.S. is bad somehow. No need to downvote.

I mean told by the government and the media and just generell word of mouth.

More so I mean disadvantages for being a citizen rather than on a global scale of economy e.g.

Edit: one example might be "they have to pay immense taxes"

Sorry if the wording is weird, google helped me.

Thank you!
