Healthcare provider here.
When a physician assess a patient with knee pain, they focus on the knee only. X-ray mri etc.
When I assess a patient as a physical therapist, I assess the hip and back to further ensure that we treat the problem and which will alleviate the symptoms.
Frequently, i find that the knee pain is caused by the lack of mobility on the knee joint (causing changes in the way the knee moves) as caused by joints above.
The mobility up the chain dictates the mobility down the chain.
How do I help impact this change to happen so we are not treating symptoms and help our fellowmen function well later in life.
Advise appreciated. I did file a report with the fbi and still no call since last year.
Thank you.
