Hello all, let me start by saying good morning and let’s get into it. Me and her were together for about 10 years and lived together for about 7 of those years. Mid 20s so we were the “high school sweethearts” a couple months ago I failed myself and her and almost had sex with an escort. Nothing resulted in it cause of a call I had got from her ( crazy right? ). We broke up and she moved out and then the ride got bumpy from there(completely miserable on my part) some time goes by and I found out she’s been hanging with another dude and we got into it and stopped talking I felt . 3 weeks later she calls and says she wants to talk. So she comes over and we talk, and she apologizes for what I had seen with the other guy and I tell her I understand and she doesn’t need to apologize and I still love her and want to be with her irregardless. Small hang outs and kind gestures from my part (letters, small gifts etc) and I went out of town and told her if she wants to get away from all her madness and friends and family she could stay there if she wanted which she did. Moving on we talk here and there and she comes over and the last emotional convo we had she tells me she just can’t see past what I did and she doesn’t know if we can get back together, she still loves me and thinks of me . I explained that it’s only my opinion but I think it’s pretty soon to just get past it and it has to reside with time but we’ve had the best of life within our time together and I don’t wanna rush things cause she is literally the only woman I want to be with and start a family with.

I am confused on where this is going. I am in therapy for myself and working my situation of why I did what I did. She is the love of my life and I just really want to work things out and be a better man for myself and her.

Any input, advice or suggestions. ?
